Support Local Action


The biggest action we can take right now is to vote for Climate Leadership. 

Local, regional and national politicians can do so much more than we as individuals can do. They can affect policies, laws and mass action in certain areas and have the resourcing to do it. We want this to be in addressing climate change now.


Both ECAN and CCC declared a Climate Emergency - we need to see those large bureaucratic organisations dealing with the emergency not putting it off for our old age and children.

We’ve been feeling concerned about what we can do with the latest climate change report. Asking ourselves; do we just keep trying to live as zero-waste as possible? Is there any other action we can take to help change things?

The headlines are scary right now, the climate crisis is here, it’s accelerating and its dangerous. But we often get asked or ask ourselves, “What can I, as one person, do?” And that’s where we have some good news. Over the next wee while we will be sharing our Top Ten Tips that will make a difference. We don’t have to be perfect but we need to have a go.

Remember that all these tips are great for the planet, together it will reduce climate change but also it will be better for your health and our society. So it’s a win-win-win-win !​
